Description
This course offers the knowledge and skills necessary for engaging in comparative analysis of nonprofit institutions that make up global civil society. It examines various theories of how socio-economic forces cause the formation of non-state, non-business organizations to exist. Research, data and working papers are examined that underly a criteria for identifying and describing nonprofit institutions and civil society in any country.
