Modeling methods and computational techniques to predict the mechanics of microstructured materials. Constitutive models to describe single crystal plasticity and techniques to solve mechanics of polycrystalline matter. Simulation tools include discrete dislocation dynamics and solving static equilibrium in microstructured materials with the finite element method and spectral methods.
